dripping icicles

The sun is out. The icicles are slowly disappearing. Colette and I spent some time bird-watching this morning: finches, doves, and a pileated woodpecker. I've run out of birdseed so hope the latest batch lasts for the day at least.

Very excited for the long weekend. Made a trip to Trader Joe's yesterday and stocked up on baking supplies, so may try my hand at some fun baked goods this weekend (some sort of coffee cake for breakfast tomorrow?). Stay warm wherever you are!
