I made this yesterday after picking up supplies at the farmer's market:

Fava Bean/English Pea Crostini!
I put in about a handful of fresh english peas and a handful of fresh fava beans, and a handful of mint leaves. Put them in the food processor with a couple of tablespoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice, salt, and a half cup of parmesan cheese (not from market). Then as I worked the food processor, I streamed in olive oil till it was the consistency of a spread.

Took some toasted sourdough and rubbed it with a garlic clove to get the essence. Then put the spread on the bread.

(i saw this recipe on Jamie at Home Saturday morning).

I served it on the side of an heirloom tomato salad with fresh basil, balsamic, and olive oil.

Yummo!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2264530595508733385.post-18009191529176464712008-06-12T11:16:00.000-04:002008-06-12T11:16:00.000-04:00I am really wanting a bike, especially an older on...I am really wanting a bike, especially an older one with some character like yours. I was on a bike three years ago in the Vineyard, and before that, it was probably junior high. Needless to say, I totally embarrassed myself - and even crashed into a poor child (he wasn't hurt, but told his dad "It wasn't my fault, I swear!"). I think I need some practice.T.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13668659021894830720noreply@blogger.com
