Of course they didn't officially call us off until 9am (good thing I already made my mind up to not drive the hour into work!). Hopefully you'll be sent home early :)
You make it sound so nice. I am decidedly more negative on the snow situation. We still have about 16 inches on the ground from earlier storms. No place to put the snow tomorrow...more salt and dirty snow, and another layer of ice on the sidewalks...Xmas tree still buried from the last snow (will be picked up in March perhaps, when the snow melts)...must dig my car out of the parking lot in order to drive home from work...do not have an extra shovel to keep in my trunk...blah. I am so over winter!!
Oh T! That stinks! Yes, very different situations - this will be only 4 inches or so total and will be gone the next day most likely. Oh, stay warm and safe!

Oh, I love snow pictures! Right now the Capitol building looks like it is in a big snow globe.
I agree with Theresa- we will gladly loan you a couple feet of snow if you would like some more on the ground.
