my own spot

A cold Sunday morning. Sun shining. I'd rather be curled up in bed napping or reading, but instead I am on for work today. Good thing my office has a big window and I can find my own spot in the sun and watch the squirrels.

Had a lovely weekend so far - movie night with the girls on Friday to see Black Swan. Creepy but eerily beautiful. Then a lovely baby shower full of oohing and aahing for dear friend E.

I have a table piled with winter squashes at home calling my name. The last of my farmers' market finds. Need to do a little research for some new recipes to flex my culinary muscles a bit in 2011...
